This
is Baja’s ultimate long-range dive trip! We’ll be peeling off layers of
rubber as we dive our way south through the best and most remote dive
sites of Baja’s Pacific Coast.
Target species will include White Sea Bass, Yellowtail, Wahoo, Trophy Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Marlin, Halibut and Grouper.
Destinations will include San Benitos and Cedros, The Ridge, Thetis Bank , Alijos Rocks and the Magdalena Bay area.
As
a special note, we will spend at least a couple days diving Trophy
Yellowfin Tuna otherwise known as ‘Cows’ in the Mag Bay area. In
December 2010, the new all-tackle World-Record Yellowfin Tuna weighing
a whopping 405lbs was caught on the anchor along with countless fish in
the 150lb-250lb range. More sport-caught ‘Cow ‘Tuna have come out of
this area in the last seven years than any other part of the Pacific
and we’ll be there during prime time!
