Monster Bug-Off - Lobster Tournament

* You will have the option to take your prize in cash, or in a Spear America Gift Card for the cash amount, plus an extra 20% added value on top of your prize’s dollar amount *

Winner Categories:

- Overall Winner for Heaviest Lobster out of all 4 zones

- Winner for Heaviest Lobster in each of the 4 zones

- Overall Winner for Highest Quantity of Lobsters 

submitted for the entire Lobster Season

Not sure if you’ll be able to catch a monster lobster this year? Not to worry, we will also be awarding jackpot money to those who submit the highest number of lobsters during the season!

 

Greenhorn divers are encouraged to sign up, and we will be awarding prizes for our new divers on their first lobster season

 

MONTHLY RAFFLES ALL SEASON:

There will be a monthly raffle prize awarded every month throughout the season 

Winners will be picked from all the participants that submitted lobsters during that month

Zone 1:

Offshore/Islands

Location Codes: #1-10

Zone 2: 

San Diego County

Location Codes: #15-32

Zone 3:

Orange County

Location Codes: #35-44A

 

Zone 4:

Los Angeles County

Location Codes: #50-67

*Lobster card must show Gear Code #4 (Skin Diving) ONLY

 

Contest Sign-Ups:

First Submission:

$30 & a free Spear America T-shirt

Additional Submissions:

$15 per zone

Sign up for all 4 Zones for $70

Sign-ups Before October 31st:

Sign-ups can be done in advance or on the spot when bringing in your first lobster to any Spear America location

Sign-ups After October 31st:

Sign-ups will be accepted at any time for the entire Lobster Season.

However, there will be a 1 week wait period after registration before you can submit your first lobster.

* Lobster card must be shown as proof when submitting your lobsters at any Spear America store location *

* Lobster tails will be punched to avoid multiple submissions *
